Ujjain (Madhya Pradesh): After two years, Jagdish temple and ISKCON temple in Ujjain took out the Rath Yatra of Lord Jagannath.

On this event the Lord together with elder brother Baldau and sister Subhadra went out to go to the town seated in a chariot on Friday afternoon to know the situation of the devotees. For the final two years, the Yatra couldn’t be taken out due Corona and at present when the devotees discovered their god amongst them, they have been overwhelmed.

The Rath Yatra of Jagdish temple of Khati Samaj began from Kartik Chowk and the Rath Yatra of ISKCON temple in Bharatpuri began from Budhwaria. The route of the Rath Yatra of Jagdish Temple was from Karthik Chowk to Dharamshala, Dhaba Highway, Telivada, Kanthal, Chhatri Chowk, Gopal Mandir, Patni Baazar and it culminated once more at Jagdish Mandir.

When ISKCON devotees got here out on the streets chanting “Hare Rama, Hare Krishna”, folks have been left in awe. Devotees competed to tug the chariot of Lord Jagannath, the God of pleasure. It took greater than 4 hours for the Rath to be pulled from Budhwariya to the ISKCON temple with the assistance of a cotton rope. It travelled by means of Kanthal intersection, Nayesadak, Daulatganj, Malipura, Freeganj overbridge, Tower Chowk and on to Dewas Highway. Devotees thronged the path to catch a glimpse of the Lord. The worshipers from ISKCON who have been with the Rath Yatra introduced melodious hymns and stored sweeping the street in entrance of the chariot all the way in which. The Yatra reached the ISKCON temple at round 7 pm and the chariot entered the premises embellished on the strains of the Gundicha temple of Puri. After the worship, prasad was distributed to the devotees and lots of of individuals took the prasad.
