Ujjain (Madhya Pradesh): The miscreants escaped after committing theft on a restaurant proprietor simply 100 metres away from Nanakheda police station right here on Monday. The accused ate meals and threatened the restaurant proprietor on the tip of a knife when requested to pay for the meals they’d. They reportedly fled after looting Rs 5k.

Maa Chamunda Restaurant is in Nanakheda Bus Stand space. On Monday night, Nilesh Goswami and Rakesh Jaiswal got here to eat meals. Each ordered and ate a full meal. After they began popping out after consuming meals, the operator Kuldeep Jaiswal requested for Rs 200 in keeping with the invoice. On this each received indignant and took out a knife. They threw away meals objects and took out round Rs 5k saved within the money field.

Jaiswal mentioned that the accused Nilesh Goswami is a goon of the realm and he got here daily within the night for the final 10 to fifteen days. He left the restaurant with out paying the invoice each time. On Monday when he was requested to pay, he created a scene. He confirmed a knife to a lady working there and threatened that in the event that they reported the matter to police, he would kill her too. When Jaiswal requested for cash, he and his affiliate destroyed the entire restaurant.

Sub-inspector (SI) Santosh Pathak mentioned that Nilesh is a history-sheeter. He had requested for Rs 500 as ‘hafta’ (weekly cash). When the operator refused to provide the hafta, he robbed the bag, ransacked items and ran to kill the proprietor with a knife. A case has been registered in opposition to the accused.
