Rain-related incidents have claimed the lives of 76 folks within the state throughout the ongoing monsoon season thus far, a report by the state catastrophe administration authorities mentioned on Sunday. The India Meteorological Division (IMD) has forecast heavy rainfall within the coastal Konkan area until July 13. Rainfall of 64 mm to 200 mm is predicted within the area, the report mentioned.

In Gadchiroli district, communication with 128 villages was misplaced resulting from heavy rains.
