Maharashtra Chief Minister Eknath Shinde, his deputy Devendra Fadnavis on Saturday met PM Narendra Modi in Delhi.

Maharashtra Chief Minister Eknath Shinde and his deputy Devendra Fadnavis additionally met President Ram Nath Kovind and Defence Minister Rajnath Singh right here on Saturday.

The conferences adopted prolonged deliberations over the power-sharing association in Maharashtra between the BJP and the Shinde-led faction of the Shiv Sena on the residence of Union House Minister Amit Shah that started late Friday night time and stretched until the wee hours of Saturday.

Shinde started his day by providing floral tributes on the statues of Chhatrapati Shivaji, B R Ambedkar and Mahatma Jyotiba Phule on the Maharashtra Sadan right here.

Shinde and Fadnavis then drove all the way down to the Rashtrapati Bhawan for a gathering with Kovind, their first after assuming workplace on June 30.

The 2 leaders then had a gathering with the defence minister at his residence.
