Indore (Madhya Pradesh): A pupil of Faculty of Agriculture, Indore, who had filed a criticism of ragging with College Grants Fee about 12 days in the past, has claimed that his institute is attempting to cover-up the harassment incident.

Resources in UGC stated that the complainant contacted the Anti-Ragging Helpline of UDC and claimed that his school government are looking to sweep the ragging incident below the carpet.

Faculty dean Sharad Kumar Choudhary, on the other hand, rubbished the declare and stated that they’re probing into the subject.

“As in keeping with our investigation to this point, some dispute had taken position between two teams of scholars. We had observed CCTV photos through which some scholars have been observed arguing to one another. From CCTV photos, it kind of feels that it used to be a feud. Alternatively, we aren’t ruling out the potential of ragging,” he stated.

A complainant of ragging had reached UGC from Faculty of Agriculture at Indore on March 3.

Thereafter, the UGC directed the school to get the criticism probed and record again.

The school had forwarded the criticism to the anti-ragging committee asking it to probe into the subject.

UGC had additionally spoken to the school dean and lab technician over the subject.

Greater than 12 days had handed for submitting of criticism however the school may now not whole the probe into it until now.

In the meantime, the complainant is involved with UGC officers. He reportedly knowledgeable UGC officers that the school isn’t doing the rest on his complainant.
