A formidable 7.3 magnitude earthquake shook off the coast of Fukushima in northern Japan on Wednesday night, triggering a tsunami advisory.
The Japan Meteorological Company stated the quake struck 60 kilometres (36 miles) beneath the ocean.
The area is a part of northern Japan that used to be devastated by means of a dangerous 9.0 quake and tsunami that still led to a nuclear crisis.
