Central Railway has continued its relentless efforts in direction of reaching “Zero Scrap Mission” to make all stations, sections, installations, depots, workshops, sheds, office overlaying all departments/Divisions free from scrap .
Through the present 12 months from April to June 2022, Central Railway registered a income of Rs.100.08 crore from sale of scrap which is 62.94% extra when in comparison with the income of Rs.61.42 crore achieved throughout the corresponding interval of final 12 months i.e. April to June 2021.
The scarp sale income of Rs.100.08 Crore generated by Central Railway is the very best ever income generated from sale of scrap for April to June interval in any 12 months.
Anil Kumar Lahoti, Common Supervisor, Central Railway mentioned that the disposal of scrap has not solely helped in producing income but in addition to maintain the premises clear and setting pleasant.
