CBI arrests Energy Grid exec director, Tata Initiatives government VP amongst 6 in bribery case |
The CBI has arrested Government Director of Energy Grid Company of India B S Jha and 5 officers of Tata Initiatives, together with its Government VP Deshraj Pathak and Assistant VP R N Singh, in reference to alleged bribery to favour the personal firm, officers stated on Thursday.
The probe company had performed searches on Wednesday in Ghaziabad, Noida, Gurugram, amongst different locations, throughout which Rs 93 lakh money was recovered from the Gurugram premises of Jha.
Jha is at the moment posted in Itanagar, they stated.
It’s alleged that Jha was extending favours to Tata Initiatives in varied tasks in return of illicit fee, they stated.
The 5 arrested executives of Tata Initiatives shall be produced earlier than Panchkula court docket on Thursday, they added.
