Srinagar: Authorities introduced on Wednesday that attributable to inclement climate alongside each the routes, Amarnath Yatra will stay suspended for the day.

Because of inclement climate alongside each Baltal and Pahalgam routes, no motion of pilgrims might be allowed from both aspect in direction of the cave shrine as we speak, officers stated, including that the pilgrims is not going to transfer in direction of the Valley from Jammu.

The state of affairs might be reviewed later, they added.

Since Amarnath Yatra 2022 began on June 30, to this point over 65,000 Yatris have carried out the pilgrimage.

The pilgrimage to the cave shrine, located 3,888 metres above the ocean stage, will conclude on August 11 on Shravan Purnima coinciding with Raksha Bandhan pageant.
