Khargone (Madhya Pradesh): CMO Ms Priyanka Patel inspected varied industrial institutions of town on Saturday with regard to the nationwide ban on single-use plastic that has come into drive. Round 1500 kg of plastic was confiscated through the inspection by the employees accompanying the CMO. Civic Well being Officer Shri Prakash Chitte said about 15 retailers and godowns have been inspected and non-standard plastic materials was confiscated.

The worth of the confiscated non-standard materials is round 5 lakhs. The plastic materials was seized from Anand Supari, Fakhri Shops, Dulichand’s store, Suresh Chandra Mahajan, Ankit Mahajan, Burhan Uddin, Dwarka Das, Sunil Kumar, Vinod Jain, Shri Niwas Marwari, Anil Dudh shops.

Earlier, Collector Kumar Purushottam had directed all of the municipal chief government officers of the district to strictly implement the plastic ban. Beforehand the civic physique had notified the ban on single-use plastic.
